Congrats, Matt and Emily!

Matt and Emily are married! I knew when I took their engagement photos this spring, that I was going to LOVE their wedding. These two are just about as nice as can be, which is no surprise after meeting their lovely families. Everyone made me feel welcome from the minute I stepped into the church - thank you all for making my job easy!

Matt and Emily were married in her hometown church, Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson, MO. They had the most awesome color scheme - yellow with zebra print. So very cool.

On to Cape Guiardeau for wedding party photos! I must say I absolutely loved this group. They were slightly crazy and tons of fun, which fits right in with my style!

The ladies continue with the zebra-print theme, right down to the shades:

I had to throw this next photo in because I know Emily loved all the hands/feet close-ups I did for their engagement session:

Emily scouted out all these wonderful locations ahead of time. I lOVED that the photos and locations were as important to her as they are to me!

Props to Matt and Emily for dodging traffic and looking totally sexy in the 60 seconds we had before cars came bearing down on us. I threw them a curve-ball with my rapid-fire instructions, and they responded wonderfully. You guys rock. Seriously.

"Magic hour" light...Delicious!

My personal favorite...SO romantic:

On my way back from Jackson, I drove through the MOST AWESOME lightning storm. I pulled over in the middle of no-where, Missouri to grab this shot:

The perfect ending to a perfect day. Many thanks to Matt and Emily, who are genuinely good, kind-hearted people. Enjoy Puerto Viarta!
