Congrats Bryan and Shefy!

When Kelly Manno contacted me about second shooting a traditional Indian wedding, I was thrilled. I had visions of bright colors, beaded saris, and fun traditions... and was not disappointed. The whole day, from start to finish, was a photographer’s dream.

Shefy was not only a beautiful bride, but she was also a lot of fun to be around. I don’t think I have ever seen a bride laugh so much! Her mom and aunts helped her into her traditional wedding costume, complete with gorgeous jewelry.

Per tradition, the groom dances outside with friends and family before the ceremony. The bride’s mother comes out to greet him and performs a fun little ceremony that basically gives him permission to marry her daughter.

The priest prepares for the ceremony:

The first part of the ceremony involves only the groom and both sets of parents. Shefy and her girls chilled out in the lobby before making their appearance.

Aren't they just about the cutest couple?

Thanks, Bryan and Shefy, for being such a cool bride and groom. And thanks, Kelly, for the wonderful opportunity!
