Back to KC: The Wedding of Matt and Jessica

This past weekend, I headed back to Kansas City for the wedding of Matt and Jessica. You might remember their fall engagement session. I knew from the moment I met them that I would enjoy their wedding day.

First, some pretty details. I love how the deep purple just pops:

Being a photographer is such a priviledge - I get to take a peek into awesome moments, such as the "behind the scenes" fun before the ceremony. The bride is always so excited, and Jessica was no exception. She was glowing even before the makeup! Check out the little butterfly she is holding - it is her "something old" - and has been in the family for generations:

I really enjoy photographing these two, because they just beam when they see each other. Check out their "first look":

The guys and gals all look so fabulous, you can't even tell it's 100 degrees outside.

So. Pretty.

See what I mean about the beaming? Too cute!

Thanks, Matt and Jess, for being so very kind and making the day an enjoyable experience.

Stay tuned for a "rock-the-wedding-dress" session involving trespassing (just a little!), storm clouds, grass fields, and sunset light.
